Atrial Fibrillation (AF) is the commonest cardiac arrhythmia and is particularly prevalent in the elderly population. It carries a five-fold increased risk of embolic stroke. This webinar will help you recognize AF clinically, including the ECG appearances, and undertake stroke risk assessment on affected patients.

AF is the commonest cardiac arrhythmia. It increases the risk of embolic stroke five-fold. Opportunistic diagnosis and confirmation of the arrhythmia through ECG recording is therefore an important skill for healthcare professionals across primary and secondary care. This workshop will help you to identify the ECG appearances of AF and atrial flutter.
