Hi I am Philippa Fairbrother, Founder of Satori People Development and a breast cancer survivor.
Following my treatment for breast cancer I have annual mammograms and on my most recent one, while I was sitting there waiting to go in, it suddenly dawned on me that the results of this had the potential to change my life!

I started to feel a bit overwhelmed. I had no control over what the result would be and this scared me.
I felt quite emotional and started to imagine the worst.
At that moment in time I could quite easily have spiralled down a rabbit hole of what ifs.
However, I am a positive person and I have really invested in my personal growth recently, so I was able to recognise the signs and stop myself by thinking…..
What can I control?
I can’t control the results but I can control the actions to put my mind at rest.
So I asked to see a breast care nurse whilst I was there and she examined me.
She was very reassuring about her findings and I felt instantly better (since then I have also had the results back and I am pleased to tell you it was all clear ).
My question to you is…
What do you do when a stressful situation overwhelms you?
Dependant on your behavioural type, you will more than likely have different reactions to stress, so I have created the following questions to help you identify which colour energy stress triggers you identify with the most and included 3 key actions you can take.
In a stressful situation, do you find yourself:
A) Aloof, withdrawn or resentful and nitpicking at the tiny detail?
B) Stubborn, silent or withdrawn and becoming impersonal or judgmental?
C) Overly responsive, critical or rebellious appearing opinionated and argumentative?
D) Aggressive, impatient or irritable and demanding and being overly concerned with short term goals?
