Together, with expert colleagues, focusing on the emotional health & wellbeing of people with diabetes they’ll explore pressing challenges, share impactful stories, and spark conversation around innovation, inclusion, prevention and the steps needed to take to Forge the Future of Diabetes Care in Cheshire & Merseyside.
What the day holds for you. You will:
- Explore emerging pressures in diabetes care and how healthcare teams are adapting to meet new expectations.
- Understand the pathophysiology and management of diabetes-related complications
- Learn from improvement projects and clinical initiatives
- Gain insight into national and regional programmes
- Discuss integrated care approaches, involving specialist dieticians, psychiatrists, and community health systems to support complex diabetes needs.
- Engage with pharmaceutical advancements.
- Strengthen local network connections among clinical staff, service managers, and policy influencers.
In addition attendees will:
- Have enhanced understanding of current clinical strategies and policy directions in diabetes care.
- Be better equipped to apply interdisciplinary insights to their practice.
- Take away actionable tools and ideas for implementing improvement projects in their own settings.
