Join qualifies colleagues from across South Wales for a full-day educational event focused on delivering high-quality women’s healthcare. This study day will provide practical updates and clinical guidance on topics including puberty and periods, contraception and fertility, menopause and HRT, vaccination, screening, and the management and sign posting support of common but often complex conditions such as PCOS, PMDD, and endometriosis. Learning Objectives
By the end of this study day, participants will be able to:
- Integrate holistic approaches to care, including weight management, lifestyle advice, and appropriate referral pathways.
- Apply evidence-based care across the women’s health lifespan, from puberty to menopause.
- Assess, manage and sign post care and support for menstrual and gynaecological conditions, including abnormal bleeding, PCOS, PMDD, and endometriosis.
- Deliver effective contraceptive care, supporting informed, patient-centred decision-making.
- Implement best practice in menopause care, including prescribing of HRT and non-hormonal options.
- Promote, deliver and sign post screening and prevention strategies, including cervical screening, breast health, and vaccination.
