SUMMARY:Complete Heart Block
DESCRIPTION:This webinar with Charlie Bloe\, Lead Nurse for Cardiology – CCU\, Raigmore Hospital\, will cover the causes and symptoms of complete heart block\, how to recognise it on an ECG and the management of this condition. \nThird-degree atrioventricular block (AV block) or complete heat block is a relatively common medical condition in which the electrical impulse generated in the sinoatrial node (SA node) in the atrium of the heart cannot transmit to the ventricles. People with complete heart block typically experience bradycardias and associated symptoms such as dizziness\, hypotension and syncope. It is more commonly seen in the elderly and is the commonest indication for permanent pacemaker implants. \n  \n \n

SUMMARY:Are you normal? Free Laughology Webinar
DESCRIPTION:Have you ever been told that you’re “acting weird” or “not being normal”? Well what is “weird” and what is “normal”? \nThese words can be hurtful and make people feel like outsiders. Everyday language doesn’t help this and leads to a greater feeling of isolation. This is why conscious inclusion and equity matter. \nOn the 13th June at 4pm\, Laughology’s glorious leader\, Stephanie Davies is running a free webinar on inclusion\, equity and how language can help. It is titled “Are You Normal?” and you can book your free space here. \nIn the session you will learn: \n\nLanguage and behaviours that help or hinder inclusion\nHow we create an environment for choice and the positive impact\nThe importance of equity for equality\nWhat does conscious inclusion actually mean\n\nTickets are limited though\, so make sure to secure your spaces fast!
