SUMMARY:Dermatology in a Nutshell Liverpool
DESCRIPTION:IMPROVING SKILLS IN DERMATOLOGY THROUGH EDUCATION & TRAINING  \n\n\n\nAccording to the RCGP skin conditions are the most common reason for patients to present in primary care\, and around one in four patients visit their GP with skin problems each year! However unfair you feel this might be\, you need to be able to think coherently about not only potentially making a diagnosis\, but some sensible treatment strategies after that.  \n\n\n\nThis event is aimed at anyone working in primary care who recognises the need to know some dermatology\, but frankly just isn’t particularly keen on it! \n\n\n\nSpeaker: Dr Stephanie Gallard\, GPwSI in Dermatology

SUMMARY:VT Or Not VT
DESCRIPTION:Ventricular Tachycardia (VT) is a cardiac arrythmia that is more commonly encountered in patients with myocardial infarction and heart failure. It is classified as a Broad Complex Tachycardia (BCT) i.e. the heart rate is greater than 100 beats per minute and the QRS complexes on the ECG are prolonged in duration. However\, while VT is a serious\, and potentially life-threatening\, cardiac arrythmia it is not the only BCT that we encounter. This webinar will help you differentiate between VT and other less serious broad complex tachycardias. \n\n\n\nSpeaker: Charlie Bloe\, Lead Nurse for Cardiology\, NHS Highland
